How to Use Norwex Carpet Stain Buster:

1.      Spot Cleaning:

i.  For large areas, soak the soiled area with a mixture of 320 ml (10 oz) of Carpet Stain Buster to 4L (1 gallon) of water. (For smaller jobs, use a mixture of ¼ cup Carpet Stain Buster to 4 cups of water.) Try to soak through the backing and carpet pad as well. Scrub the area with a soft clean cloth. Blot as much moisture out as possible.

ii. Carpet Stain Buster may be used full strength, but be sure to test it in an inconspicuous area first.

2.      Extracting with a carpet cleaning machine:

i.  Pre-treat heavily soiled areas by spraying on a mixture of 200 ml (6 oz) of Carpet Stain Buster to 4L (1 gallon) of water with a spray bottle.

ii. Let sit undisturbed for at least 10 minutes.

iii.  Mix 32 ml (1 oz) of Carpet Stain Buster to 4L (1 gallon) of water for the Carpet Cleaning machine and extract over pre-treated and all other areas to be cleaned.

Norwex recommends using Carpet Stain Buster in your own machine only, as Rental Cleaners state in their contracts to use their products.

3.      Bonnet Cleaning (pad is added to a floor polisher to adapt the polisher for carpet use):

i.  Prepare mixture of 320 ml (10 oz) of Carpet Stain Buster to 4L (1 gallon) of water. Pre-treat heavily soiled areas by spraying directly on stains with a spray bottle.

ii. Prepare the bonnet pad by immersing in the above mixture, wringing out, attaching to machine and using at low speed (175RPM). Dirt is theoretically collected into the pad.

NOTE: Bonnet method is not recommended by nearly all carpet and fiber manufacturers.
